In the heart of the award winning Hale Village, we are a new lively and welcoming Church of England church and community centre located just 3 minutes from Tottenham Hale rail, tube and bus stations. We are a young and modern church, a community centre, a café and a nursery all in one location in the heart of Hale Village, just minutes from Tottenham Hale station. Our Sunday morning service takes place at 11.00am every week. All are welcome to join us. We have monthly Shared Lunches and lots of different events on throughout the year.

Welcome to St Francis at The Engine Room website. We are both a Church of England church and community centre, here in the heart of Tottenham Hale, located in the award winning Hale Village, right next to Tottenham Hale station.
We are currently opening for reduced hours in the summer holidays. Office hours are 9.30am to 12.30pm Tuesday to Friday. Please come along to our Pop Up Café with free food for families during the summer holidays.

We have three modern well equipped spaces for birthdays, anniversaries, wedding celebrations, naming events as well as for training and business meetings.
PLEASE NOTE that from 01.01.2026 to 31.12.26 our outdoor courtyard space will not be available for public use due to cladding work on Eagle Heights.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE our community kitchen is a shared space and cannot be reserved exclusively for any one group. We ask for your cooperation and understanding.
Starting in September on Saturdays we are only available to hire from midday. Pre existing bookings from 9.00am will be honoured.
Prices are
Main Hall Full day £700 (Community Rate £490)
Small Hall Full day £475 (Community Rate £290)
Workshop Full day £270 (Community Rate £200)
A damage deposit of ONLY £100 is payable on booking and refunded after the event assuming no damage, extra cleaning or extra time used.
Hourly rates are also available.
Our maximum room size is our Main Hall for 100 people and our smallest is our Workshop for up to 20 people. All rooms are on the ground floor and fully accessible. All rooms can be set up with AV (widescreen TV or projector) and the Main Hall has a professional PA system.
