Will you make a gift today?

Some of our workers are funded by the Diocese of London. However, a lot of the activities we do at the Engine Room require additional funding.

We would love to do more to engage with children and young people, for reaching isolated people in the community, especially elderly and disabled people and for growing the work of the church.

This is where you can help by making a gift can help change lives in Tottenham Hale. Whether you chose to give £5 or £50 your gift will be used effectively to benefit our local community.

Support us to build the new Engine Room

The new Engine Room community centre and St Francis church in Hale Village, Tottenham is now open. Why not pop in and see the new space!

Over £725,000 has already been raised towards this project through gifts from individuals, The Mercers Livery Company and on-going campaigns but we need to raise a further £800,000.

The fundraising for this project is continuing by inviting grant making trusts, businesses, individuals and the Church community to give generously.

Are you a business with an interest in supporting the community in Tottenham and Haringey? We need your support both with fundraising but also volunteering. The café provides an opportunity to create apprenticeships and jobs while building community and tackling problems such as isolation for the elderly. Your corporate social responsibility project could help us make this a reality. We are interested in discussing partnership opportunities. Could you donate £10 or even £100 per month and help this critical development in Tottenham?

Every penny will help us make this vision a reality and helps build the walls within which people like Rosie can continue to build community. Rosie helps to run the pop-up café and she says ‘a lady came up to me and was thankful – she’s been living here for 10 years and shes just got to know a whole load of her neighbours. It’s about empowering people, and if the church can do that… that’s amazing’
